In his many years, Hoka's personality developed and changed. Early recordings describe his younger form as incredibly charismatic, filled with self-confidence and quiet enthusiasm, while his older persona seems to have endured uncountable evils without being broken. In any case he possesses an eternal calm, and all his avatars are completely fearless. Hoka's realm is in the celestial plane, in a land called Goldenheart in the second level of Heaven, Mercuria. Torm was known to be a great ally to Yona during the Great Schism, and he is greatly revered by all mortal warriors. > [!dm] > ### Institutions > Hoka's worshipers consisted mainly of humans who favored the causes of both good and law. Righteousness, honesty, loyalty and truth were their primary pursuits. After the Great Schism, the number of dwarven and elvish members increased dramatically. Hoka does not have temples, in the traditional sense, but clerics, paladins, and followers tend to establish altars in the wild, often at the site of a great battle, to honor their god. Hoka requires three tenets from his followers: 1) Respect and enforce the law, and honor your traditions. 2) Demonstrate truthfulness, loyalty, and steadfast devotion to a rightful cause. 3) Do not flinch in the execution of your duty, no matter what the consequence. > > ### Notes > [Additional DM-only information]
