***Overgod. The form of the dragon.***
Very few mortals in history have ever heard of Aze, let alone laid eyes on the Overgod. As the Overgod,ˆç all deities and primordials are subject to his rule and judgement. If it were not for Aze's brief appearance during the Great Schism, where he personally approved of Yona's admission to the pantheon of Greater Deities, historians would likely not know of Aze's existence. Aze holds himself aloof from most events as an eternal, rarely-interfering observer. He is the enforcer of cosmic powers, the one who approves godhood, and the one who harshly punishes deities who stray beyond their domain. He does not view godhood as inherently beneficial; as a matter of fact, divine providence may even be granted as a punishment. The exact extent of Aze's power is unknown, particularly on matters of omniscience and plan, but he is known not to be emotionless. He is known to smile and is quick to anger. It is rumored that all dragons are formed from his fallen scales.
