From a young age, he had an edge that pushed him towards a more adventurous life. In his teen years, he used to wander [[_GM_1. World Almanac/World/Tovangar/The Valley/The Valley|The Valley]] alone at night, searching for a new danger to feel. One night. D'rar was ambushed by a group of bandits looking to collect [[Nectar]] in the Valley. He went out to go get revenge the following night, only to find the bandits had burned [[Eryndale]] to the ground. D'Rar fled, and spent years hiding in [[_GM_1. World Almanac/World/Tovangar/The Valley/The Valley|The Valley]] in shame, discovering the complicated relationship he had with fire as a source of his power. D'Rar joined [[_GM_1. Player Characters/Group 19/Group 19]] for the first time during [[Episode 1 - The Team Forms...]], becoming an integral and founding member of the team. While living in [[_GM_1. World Almanac/World/Tovangar/Solaria/Neo/Neo]], D'rar spent much of his time drinking - especially at [[The Brass Bit]]. After inicidentally burning down [[The Forest of Neol]] during [[Episode 2 - Finding Jedri]], D'Rar fled the scene where he stayed in [[The Marshlands]] looking to find himself. During [[D'Rar in the Marshlands]], D'rar stayed in a tiny town in [[The Marshlands]] called [[Olk'ai]]. He stayed with [[Throsha Venreed]] and her daughter [[Risha]]. While on this soul search, D'Rar incidentally ended up at The [[College of Silvermoon]], where he learned about the Circle of Spores. He made his return to [[_GM_1. Player Characters/Group 19/Group 19]] in [[Arrest the Black Viper]], where he helped defeat [[Eudora El'Kith|Eudora El’kith]]. He journeyed with the party for a little longer, but was slain in battle during [[A Pinch of Salt]].
